PROTEK 2025, themed “The Age of Intelligent Innovation,” marked a major milestone in Providence College of Engineering’s journey as a hub for technology, creativity, and collaboration. Hosted at the Kalam Block and Dome Area, the national-level technology festival brought together engineering students, school innovators, faculty, industry partners, and the wider community for an immersive learning experience.
Eight departmental pavilions showcased working models, prototypes, simulations, and research-driven projects across Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, and the Providence School of Business. From robotics, drones, and renewable energy systems to AI-powered applications and managerial challenges, the exhibits reflected strong interdisciplinary thinking and real-world relevance.
External technology demonstrations, school-level project competitions, and interactive zones inspired over 1,200 visiting school students, strengthening Providence’s outreach and STEM engagement mission. Supported by dedicated faculty mentors and student volunteers, PROTEK 2025 demonstrated how academic learning transforms into applied innovation.
As a flagship institutional event, PROTEK continues to evolve. Insights from this edition are already shaping a more expansive, interactive, and future-ready PROTEK 2026, reinforcing Providence’s commitment to intelligent innovation and experiential education.
