2. CORE OBJECTIVES
The primary mission of the ANC is to prevent the use, possession, and distribution of intoxicating substances within the college premises.
- Surveillance: Maintaining strict monitoring to prohibit illicit substances on campus.
- Education: Conducting seminars, workshops, and digital campaigns regarding the physical, psychological, and legal consequences of drug abuse.
- Lifestyle Advocacy: Encouraging students to adopt responsible and healthy lifestyles through peer mentoring.
- Collaboration: Working with local authorities and health professionals to strengthen preventive measures.
3. COMPLAINT REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
The institution maintains a Zero-Tolerance Policy. Any student or staff member who suspects activities related to substance abuse may report through the following confidential channels:
- Direct Reporting: Contact the ANC Coordinator or any designated committee member.
- Written Submission: Drop a signed or anonymous letter into the Suggestion Box located at the College.
- Digital Reporting: Email the complaint at the official institutional email address.
- Confidentiality: The identity of the whistleblower is protected under strict privacy protocols to ensure a fear-free reporting environment.
4. DISCIPLINARY & SUPPORT PROTOCOL
Upon receiving a report, the Anti-Narcotic Cell follows a structured response:
- Preliminary Inquiry: A discrete internal investigation is conducted to verify facts.
- Disciplinary Action: Confirmed violations are referred to the College Disciplinary Committee and handled according to the NDPS Act (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985) and college bylaws.
Counseling & Recovery: For students seeking help, the Cell facilitates access to professional on-campus mental health counseling or provides referrals to external experts and support groups
