Dr. Saju P John has been serving as the Principal of Providence College of Engineering since 1 November 2025, bringing with him over 20 years of distinguished experience in teaching, research, academic administration, and institutional leadership.
About Dr. Saju P John
A passionate academician and visionary administrator, Dr. Saju has held several key positions throughout his career, including Controller of Examinations, Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Jyothi Engineering College, Thrissur.
He is a proud alumnus of Government Engineering College Thrissur and Cochin University of Science and Technology, where he completed his BTech and PhD respectively.
Dr. Saju P John specializes in Security in Wireless Communications and Networks as well as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML). His research contributions include numerous publications in reputed international journals and conference proceedings. He has actively guided student projects, research scholars, and academic initiatives aimed at fostering innovation and technological excellence.
Beyond academics and research, Dr. Saju is deeply committed to student mentoring, faculty development, industry collaboration, and community engagement. Under his leadership, Providence College of Engineering continues to strengthen its commitment to academic excellence, research, innovation, and holistic student development.
