On 30th July 2025, the BTech 2025–2029 orientation programme featured a motivational session titled “From Freshers to Future Leaders” at the Einstein Centre Seminar Hall The session was conducted by Mr Allen Thomas Kannat, Founder of Prep Academy, who shared his expertise in mentoring young minds toward leadership and success Mr Kannat began by addressing the transition from school to college life, highlighting how the choices and habits formed during these years play a crucial role in shaping future careers He emphasised the importance of goal setting, self-discipline, and adaptability as students embark on their engineering journey The session focused on building leadership qualities from the start Mr Kannat encouraged students to develop confidence, communication skills, and teamwork, pointing out that leadership is not limited to titles but is about taking responsibility and inspiring others He also stressed the need for continuous learning, resilience in the face of challenges, and cultivating a positive mindset Interactive discussions and activities helped students reflect on their strengths and areas for growth By the end of the session, the freshers were motivated to view themselves not just as learners but as leaders in the making The session concluded with a potent reminder that leadership is a journey that begins today, and every step taken with purpose brings students closer to becoming future-ready professionals
