On 29th July 2025, the BTech 2025–2029 orientation programme featured an inspiring session titled “From Problems to Possibilities” at the Kalam Centre Seminar Hall The session was conducted by Mr Sajid, a former professional at Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) and NSDC International, currently serving as Global Business Head at Medzell Sajid encouraged students to view challenges not as roadblocks but as opportunities for innovation Drawing from his diverse experience in startups and global business, he explained how some of the world’s most impactful solutions were born from pressing problems He urged students to adopt an entrepreneurial mindset - one that is driven by curiosity, resilience, and the willingness to take risks The session emphasised the importance of critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and adaptability in the rapidly evolving technological landscape Mr Sajid also introduced students to the thriving startup ecosystem and explained how they can contribute to it through ideas, collaboration, and persistence Interactive discussions helped the new batch explore real-world challenges that could be transformed into possibilities through engineering innovation His practical insights and motivational storytelling left students inspired to look at every problem as the seed of an opportunity The session concluded with the message that innovation is not limited to entrepreneurs alone; it is a mindset every engineer must cultivate
