
The orientation programme for the BTech 2025–2029 batch continued with an insightful session titled “Glow Online” on 16th July 2025 at the Einstein Centre Seminar Hall The session was delivered by Mr Shiju Roy, Founder of Growth Catalyzt, a personal branding expert, content creator, LinkedIn Top Voice 2024, and certified marketing insider With his extensive experience in digital branding, he guided the students on how to build a strong online identity Mr Roy highlighted the growing importance of digital presence in today’s competitive world, where personal branding is not just for professionals but also for students aspiring to stand out in academics, placements, and entrepreneurship He shared practical tips on crafting impactful profiles, using platforms like LinkedIn effectively, and creating meaningful content to showcase skills, achievements, and passions The interactive session encouraged students to reflect on their strengths and aspirations, while learning how to communicate these effectively in the digital space He also addressed challenges such as maintaining authenticity, handling online criticism, and ensuring digital safety Through real-life examples and success stories, Mr Roy inspired the new batch to leverage technology in a positive and responsible manner The session equipped students with tools to “glow online” by aligning their digital persona with future academic and career goals, making it a highly relevant and impactful session in their orientation journey
