
The second week of the BTech 2025–2029 orientation programme began with a lively session titled “How to Live Vibrantly on Campus” on 21st July 2025 at the Kalam Centre Seminar Hall The session was led by Mr Jerrin Joy Varughese, Head of Student Affairs at Providence College of Engineering, who shared valuable insights on student life, opportunities, and responsibilities within the campus community Varughese highlighted the importance of making the most of the academic years by balancing studies with extracurricular activities, skill development, and community engagement He encouraged students to view campus life as a platform not only for academic growth but also for building leadership, teamwork, and networking skills The session also introduced students to various clubs, forums, and initiatives at Providence that foster creativity, innovation, and personal growth Through interactive discussions, Mr Varughese motivated the freshers to participate in cultural, technical, and social activities actively, reminding them that vibrant campus life shapes well-rounded professionals His practical advice and motivational approach resonated strongly with the students, leaving them energised and eager to explore all facets of college life The session successfully set the tone for an enriching and dynamic week ahead
