
The IBM Pooled Campus Placement Drive was held on 31st January and 1st February 2026, marking a historic milestone as the first IBM pooled campus placement drive held in Kerala The drive was organised at Providence College of Engineering in association with APJ Abdul Kalam Kerala Technological University (KTU) and witnessed participation from students representing more than 20 engineering colleges across the state The recruitment process attracted over 2, 400 student registrations, out of which 1, 012 candidates were shortlisted for the next stage From this pool, 550 candidates were allotted to Providence College of Engineering for the in-person assessment A total of 331 candidates appeared for the Knockri Assessment, which included coding and behavioural evaluations, conducted on 31st January 2026 Based on performance, 12 candidates were shortlisted for the final round, and 5 candidates were selected for the interview stage, held on 1st February 2026 Notably, one of the shortlisted candidates was from Providence College of Engineering, while the remaining candidates were from Government Engineering Colleges The final selection results are awaited The successful conduct of this large-scale placement drive was made possible through meticulous planning, effective coordination, and strong technical support The event highlighted the institution’s capability to host high-impact recruitment processes and strengthened its standing as a trusted partner for global organisations such as IBM The drive concluded smoothly with active support from management, faculty, the placement team, technical staff, and student volunteers, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to enhancing student employability and fostering meaningful industry-academia collaboration
