The PRC Road Safety Club, in collaboration with UDYAMA 1 0, successfully conducted a Road Safety Awareness Program on January 30, 2025, at Vocational Higher Secondary School, Chunakkara, Mavelikara The initiative aimed to educate students on traffic rules, responsible road behaviour, and accident prevention Sessions were led by distinguished faculty members, including Prof Manjusha Manoj (HoD, Civil Engineering), Ms Elsa Sneha Thomas (UDYAMA Nodal Officer), Mr Sudhish R (HoD, Mechanical Engineering), Ms Reshma Rajendran B (Road Safety Club Coordinator), and Mr Praveen M V (NSS Program Officer), covering topics such as engineering solutions for road safety, vehicle maintenance, pedestrian responsibilities, and youth advocacy in promoting safe commuting The event featured interactive discussions, visual demonstrations, a Q&A session, and a road safety quiz, ensuring active student participation The program was a resounding success, reinforcing the importance of road safety education and fostering a culture of responsible commuting
