
As part of the BTech 2025–2029 orientation week, a highly engaging session titled “Step Into μLearn” was conducted on 21st July 2025 at the Einstein Centre Seminar Hall The session was led by Mr Sudhish R, Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department at Providence College of Engineering, who introduced the students to the innovative learning ecosystem of μLearn Mr Sudhish explained that μLearn is a community-driven platform designed to foster peer-to-peer learning, mentorship, and skill-building opportunities beyond the classroom He emphasised how μLearn empowers students to take ownership of their learning journey, collaborate with like-minded peers, and explore interdisciplinary knowledge The session highlighted the different verticals of μLearn, including technology, leadership, design, and personal development Students were encouraged to engage in challenges, projects, and micro-learning activities that enhance employability and entrepreneurial skills Mr Sudhish also underlined the significance of networking, consistency, and active participation in leveraging the full potential of the platform Interactive discussions and real-life success stories from the μLearn community inspired students to step out of conventional boundaries and pursue self-driven learning The session concluded with a call to action for the new batch to actively contribute to and benefit from this vibrant ecosystem The talk successfully motivated students to embrace lifelong learning and innovation as integral aspects of their engineering journey
