The Department of CSE - Internet of Things & Cyber Security, in collaboration with TECHSOUL SYSTEMS, Kottayam, successfully conducted a three-day workshop on IoT and Robotics from 15th to 17th January 2025 at Providence College of Engineering Designed as a Value-Added Course for S3 CSOT students, the workshop provided hands-on training in IoT systems, robotics applications, and real-world case studies, fully funded by the college management Key topics covered included Arduino programming, sensor integration, Bluetooth-based automation, Android app development, IoT cloud connectivity using ThingSpeak, and robotics with Arduino Students actively engaged in practical sessions, gaining valuable insights into the latest advancements in automation, smart devices, and Industry 4 0 The event concluded successfully, with certifications awarded to participants, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to fostering emerging technology skills
