The Department of CSE - Internet of Things & Cyber Security, in association with the MIBIZ Cyber Forensics Laboratory, Trivandrum, successfully conducted a two-day Boot Camp on Cyber Forensics on January 13th and 14th, 2025, at Providence College of Engineering The boot camp, designed as a Value-Added Course for S4 CSOT students, provided hands-on training in Digital and Cyber Forensics, covering key methodologies, tools, and real-world applications Mr Reji Vasanth led sessions on digital forensics, investigative tools, and case studies, while Mr A R S Iyer focused on mobile, SIM, and disk forensics The sessions facilitated an in-depth understanding of forensic techniques, equipping students with industry-relevant skills The program, sponsored by the college management, also offered certification to participants upon successful completion The event showcased active engagement, underscoring the importance of cyber forensics in today's digital landscape
